SRI vs CAI in water

So its been raining here in moncton for about a week. We've gotten about 5 inches so far, anouther couple expected.
Anyways, I got thinking while driving down the road, with my cheap Ractive short ram intake... Will this damage anything? I've had a friend buy a CAI for his 98 civic, and got hydro-lock or whatever they call it.
I know a cold air is down, and it makes sence, but should I leave the car at home when its raining really hard?
Should I get a K&N filter or something other then ractive for it? -although I heard Ractive filters really wernt that bad...-

it dont matter how much it rains, with a short ram you not gonna hydro lock.

basically, hydro-lock occurs when the filter is soaked with water.... now think about it, with a short ram, unless youre under 3 feet of water, the water doesnt have much chance to get to your filter.
