Well you get what you pay for. And I have heard from other people and have read feedback on ebay that the paint colors dont match and they are shitty paint jobs.
The bumper alone costs around $150-$200. thats for an OEM bumper. they have OEM styles on ebay for $50-$100. And a good paint job can cost anywhere from $150-$300 to piant the bumper alone. So you do the math. Either they dont mind losing money or they are using cheap parts and cheap paint.

I'm looking specifically at seller partmartone I looked at their feedback...overwhelmingly good. They aren't to far from me and will put on as many paint coats as I want...I may give them a try...anyone interested in the results?

I have heard of that seller. Go ahead and try it if you dont want to spend alot of money. Just let us know how it looks when you get the bumper.

I've bought 2 products from partsmartone. A front bumper and a rear one. The front was a bit better quality overall. The rear bumper had minor paint chips at corners (probably due to shipping). You're right, you do get what you pay for. But $200 painted versus OEM at $500-$700, it's a no-brainer for me.
Seriously. I love my vic. But it's STILL a vic. Plan on keeping it for 7-10 years but not my dream car.

oh, I have no doubts in my mind that it's not a "honda" bumper...I don't think anyone here thinks that. But if the fitment is OEM and the paint looks good, I don't care. I won't install it until later this afternoon but no chips on the paint, paint match appears perfect....will post pics later this aft....

thumbs down so far...
The paint looks great, no runs or chips and a perfect match but the bumper doesn't fit. It might be a coupe bumper as it's the right width but isn't tall enough. I'm pretty F*ing disappointed. I've emailed them...we'll see how they make it right. Shipping is going to be a big bitch.

quick bumper update...
So after emailing them 4x without response. I called them and spoke to Mike. FWIW, Mike was very cool on the phone. He apologized about the email and said they have been having troubles lately getting all their emails. I was skeptical but he asked me to take a couple pictures and send them to him. I sent the pictures right away and within a couple of hours I rec'd an email Thursday from Mike saying they were making me a new one and would send it out right away. He also said just to wrap up the old one and set it on my front step. I figured I had a couple days so I was really suprised when FEDEx tried to pick up the old bumper yesterday. No BS about me paying for shipping or anything like that. If they get the right bumper to me quickly I'll be forgiving of them sending me the wrong one. Calling them seems to get a much quicker response then emailing them but at least once I reached someone they were quick.
