awesome, thanks for the pics!
I wish I can see a pic of it out of the engine though. How come no pics before installation!? lol.
anyawys, not too many people these days believe the numbers they read. *shrug*
edit: looks like a 2 piece, 4-2-1.. hmm.
at least we have an actual race header that was somewhat R&D'ed, and does not have installation issues.

If you dont splice the wires right there will be a problem, but extinding the wires will not retard the sensor. Its electrical. If it was mechancical, maybe, but doub it.
They had to come out with this now. Why couldnt they come out with them in the first place.
The header is probably carb legal, but you need to contact DC Sports/AEM to make sure.

yes ure right, bud you could add an highflow cat by yourself, than it is legal.
We in germany has nearly the same problems with the legality...no cat -the car inspector says NO GO. Bud i found a guy with an EP3 in our biggest Honda forum who had fixed that problem with a BuddyClub raceheader. Same problem, 4-2-1 Race header and there was no cat. Now ther is an custom welded 200psi Highflow cat on it.
Sorry only in german -bud the pics say very much, there are pics from bevore (on page 2) and after(page 4) rebuild in this thread klick link
http://www.hondapower.de/forum/showt...=105105&page=4
I think it would be the same on our DC Raceheaders, theres enough space for welding a cat between those flex-piece and flanch to Bpipe. I will do it like him when i do
Bud one question. Why is the DC Race header only made for Civic EM2 EX models? What would be the problem on an LX? Not sure if this is valid for EUDM EM2s too?

Re: For all those wondering about dc race header!(pics added!!!!)
the reason why its made for the EX model is because the LX model uses a different manifold/down pipe set up. on the LX, the cat and exhaust manifold are one piece, and it has a longer midpipe that comes off the exhaust manifold.
the EX has the exhaust manifold seperated from the cat, and the cat is located further down, after the downpipe.
sorry if that sounds confusing, but YES, you can use this header on an LX, but you'll just need to get an EX midpipe.

Ahh ok. The reason why I´m ask is because I´m from germany so my Civic EM2 LX (120PS/HP) is an EUDM model and there are some differents between USDM and EUDM EM2s...so i think in this point to.
I shot some pics of my LX OEM exhaust manifold, so you guys could help me to find out if the DC Race header would fit my EUDM LX Civic.
Header

Downpipe (shot from under the car)

Downpipe with catalytic converter

Cat (shot from right side/under the car)

Don´t ask how i shot those pics ,car is a "lil bit to low". i had to scratch my face to get them

So what do you think,I think thats the EX setup on my EUDM CIVIC LX.
Does the DCRH fits my EM2?
thx

Re: For all those wondering about dc race header!(pics added!!!!)
Ayy sup im a new member and im tryna hook up my 1997 Honda Civic DX 4dr. stick shift. I have these shitty headers that only have one 02 sensor so its keeping my check engine light on. Plus they make my car sound bad. You know were I can get some of those performance headers with the two holes for the oxygen sensors that will fit on my car.
Re: For all those wondering about dc race header!(pics added!!!!)
I want the 4-2-1 header. What is the DIY mechanical 02 sensor fix? Also, without the cat, will the exhaust sound raspy? I've got the Flowmaster American Thunder cat-back exhaust. I assume it will all bolt right up.
