dual exhaust 4 the vic
you know now that i think if it if you make the exhaust small enough then it shouldn't effect the performance any because it flows the same if you put huge *** 2.5 then yeah even single will hurt it

others are discussing this. maybe 5 inch would look bad but 3 inch pipes would be fine.

either way, having duals on the civic is probably not going to look good. it just screams rice. particularly because the engine doesn't require that kind of cfm/backpressure for the engine.
and yes the S2000 does have a true working dual exhaust. and no, single tips don't necessarily provide more power for it. it all comes down to the backpressure created and the CFM provided. there are duals out there that give just as much gain as the singles for the S2000.
and again, many cars that have dual exhaust and V-configuration engines all come to one pipe at some point (i think it has to do with emissions and the O2 sensor/ODB II sensor) and then split back again to the dual exhaust.

here is my dual..it is a ractive axle back with a custom 2 1/2 hooking up to that, imo it was the best sounding exhaust that I have herd on a civic. But my bodykit was set up for it and I was going show...plus before anyone calls me a ricer I had a turbo so I didn't lose power..truthfully I got this exhaust setup 3-4 days beofre I put my turbo on and it sounds a whole lot better with turbo, no pingy or raspiness, low down growl when at wot and you can still whisper to your gf in the passenger seat at highway speeds...I loved it

having the body kit set up for it, and having that exhaust, I must say that looks good. unfortunately many will not look at the "show" aspect and will call it rice since it likely hurts performance.

ya pretty much exactly what i want on the back of my civ cept i want mine a little smaller
it is made by RACTIVE yeah I was scared as hell to put it on my car at first thinking it would sound like a$$ but it was awesome..you will not be dissapointed, sorry for the bad pic I will have to see if I can find a better one, anyhow the tips on the pipes are about 3 - 3 1/2 wide, it didn't look big at all. I paid 469 for the rear section..kind of price that the custom cat to the axle was 165 so it was an expensive set up to say the least
