Exclamation VP Header Help!

I Have a 05 vp the converter is located right at the stock header.I was wondering what an aftermarket exaust would do about this? Does it relocate the converter and extend the o2 wires?

Yes, an aftermarket system will move the cat to the downpipe I believe. As far as the O2 wires, I have heard that no real mods are needed at all. However you will need to buy an EX header and downpipe, then you can pretty much choose from any aftermarket catback system for the EX. Nobody really makes anything for the VP these days

Your cat and the manifold are all one piece. In order to eliminate this setup, you will have to go with an aftermarket header and aftermarket cat specifically for the VP/DX/LX.

What I looked at doing was using an Ex Header (stock or aftermarket), Mid Pipe(EX only), Cat(EX only) and then you could use an EX Catback Exhaust.

Up to you though, and you may want to search in the Tech Section about this before you get moved or a threadlock.

And if you have any questions about your 05 VP, just PM me, I drive an 04 VP.

buy a header for an ex, high flow cat(test pipe) for ex, and a cat-back for an ex and it will work. and BTW, the mid pipe and cat are the in the same unit. there's only 3 pieces to the exhaust. header, cat/downpipe(all one thing), cat-back. there's no 4th peice.

VP/LX/DX also has 2 o2 sensors while the EX has one.
