Unorthodox Racing

Hey guys I checked the site at Unorthodox racing and they have a list of performance pullies coming out for the 1.7 2001 civic and up and they have a 3 peice set includes the crank and 2 others for 349
and availablitity is TBA but check out the site and stay tuned. I think we will see some power out of these babys'. Later

Pulleys make a difference !! The AEM pulleys are great, they are just the accessory pulleys though. The Unortho kit comes with those and a crank shaft pulley. The crank shaft pulley is what gives you the most power gain. They claim to get you from 8 - 15 HP. IMO, I would think on a moderately modified car, it will probably get you from 6-9 HP or so, but I could be wrong !!

yeah, it makes ur engine work less on making sure ur acessories work and focuses more on making ur tires spin.

I heard that if u have a subs and a amp in you're car and you get the pulleykit that the alternator can't put out enought power to supply the amp and everything else in the car. Is that ture?

it's not good if you have subs and amp..cause you are not going to get enough batterie..
the car might not start..so if you plan to get subs.don't get pulleys..get cam gear..
and is it worth to get.. hm..aem better or unorthdox? and price range.?

AEM lists the Tru Power Pulleys for 2K1 Civicx for $150. Do they really have these? They also warn against high powered stereos with the pulleys.
