Filter question for an aftermarket intake.

I want a new filter for my intake and my problem is that all of the ones I am finding are for 3" pipe not 2.5"....I found one at K&N but it does not come with the open nose that i want for the new filter either just a capped end. Thanks for the help all!

Akimoto makes a great universal filter. And even if you find one that's a little bit larger in flange diameter, you can get some "o"
clamps and mount it that way. The K&N I have on my AEM SRI has a larger flange diameter, but when I put the O clamp on, it works great !! But check out the Akimoto filters. And AEM just came out with a newly designed filter for thier intakes....look on thier website under New Products and you'll see it at the top.

Get the January issue of Import Tuner, and look on page 68 in the Summit ad. They go for $69.05...

But I haven't seen any on the web yet, but I need to start looking. I need to find out the specs on my AEM SR.
I need the flange diameter.
