Black Muffler
I have an N1 style axleback that i want to paint flat black so it wont be as noticeable with its shiny rice bling
has anyone ever done this??
if so, can you show me some pics

I like blacked out mufflers to.. less bling factor. Here's a couple of pics of my Flowmaster Delta Series 60(Yes I said Flowmaster, made for imports, sounds just right for me) with added chrome tip:

all black is the way to go!!
guess its been covered but bbq grill paint, engine paint or stove paint is the way to go..
soon as its warm my stock one is getting sanded and painted.. this winter has surface rusted it all to hell

dunno.. probly a few different grits... i havent gotten down there and examined it much yet...
my guess is somethin like.. i dunno.. 200-300 or so to get the rust off then 400-600 to give it a smooth finnish that will match my intake...
