header:
-hp
-kamakazie
-dc (very similar to OEM header but smoother bends)
-topspeed
-others

downpipe:
-hks is the only company i know of that makes downpipes. other companies like megan racing make test pipes where are a downpipe after the header and replaces the cat. converter with a straight pipe. there called hi flow resonators, hi flow cats, test pipe, etc.

i have the megan hi flow test pipe and it throws a cel light (aka malfunction indicator lamp). fyi, if you do not have a cat converter of some sort, the light will go on unless your one of those lucky ppl.

My current setup:

Kamikaze LX Header
Random Tech Hi-Flow Cat
5zigen Fireball Catback Exhaust

Sound is very very deep yet the tone isn't loud at all.
I don't think I'll ever get hassled by cops.

is it very loud the dc header + evo exhaust? cuz im looking for something pretty quiet, i hear the evo isnt too loud.
also do you have just the header or the cat/downpipe too? cuz the dc is only the upper section.

still might be a little loud for your liking. i dunno about dc headers. IMO they look just like stock ex headers. Here's some info on gains...

ya i understand what you mean about the dc header, it wont improve the whp that much like any bolt on but its still a step up, what header would you suggest that is compatible with the full greddy evo?

dc headers do give a bit of a gain but i'm just not sure if it's as much as others. it would probably be more of a mid range gain too. Others that are recommended are HP racing, kamikaze, and the OBX headers. OBX is a cheaper knock off of HP and Kamikaze but still does the same from what i hear.

ya i like the HP and Kamikaze but i dont know if they are the same as the DC sport header in respect to going directly to the exhaust. with the DC you dont have to get a new downpipe.

oh yeah they should all have the same piping size. if worst came to worst you can get a exhaust shop to weld them together. best guy to ask is dezod since he sells this stuff so give him a PM.
