high flow cat
Yes there are high flow-cats for our cars. As far as I know, only HKS and Megan Racing making one for n/a cars. Turbo applications use their own downpipe. I would go with megan racing because I have one and it adds a nice gain. The HKS one was the one I heard alot of bad things about plus it costs like 150$ while the MR cat costs like 50
nope. I did hear that the HKS ones do that. The megan racing has two sensors. I think only one goes in it, but I do know that I have a bosch sensor for my a/f ratio gauge thats connected to the other hole. None of the modifications I did with my car have gave me the check engine light.
no, I would reccommend you buy the megan one instead of the HKS unless you want problems and have the 3x the money then go with the HKS. The mr one did more than enough for what I paid.
You apparently need to read up a bit more. Check out the Random Tech. I have a Megan Racing and I'd recommend against it. Almost everyone with the MR that has the correct set-up will throw a CEL.
Spend the extra $ and get the Random Tech.

I also said that the only two that I know of are hks and megan racing feel free to add.
so lets say my engine light did come on. Would that be bad? if so why would it be bad its just a light and especially cuz u know what you did to it thats making it come on. If it bothers that much just change back to factory. But it wont affect performance because of that light would it.
I need TP for my bunghole

The car is a operated my a engine control unit (ecu)
The unit uses the ODB II sensors located on the exhaust to adjust the air/fuel ratios.
It can effect the overall performance of the car.
That is why some people use an O2 simulator to fool the ECU into believing nothing has changed.

Random Tech is a true fully functional high flow cat. It retains all stock o2 sensors and their positions and is guaranteed not to throw a CEL by RT.
Megan is a resonator, not an actual cat, which throws a CEL.
Spend the extra money and buy a RT.
We are an authorized distributor of their parts too!

Within about 5 minutes. Unless you have a problem with your ECU that's pre-existing.
The problem with it throwing a CEL and just leaving it would be that even though you know it's from the resonator, you won't know if another problem comes up, because your CEL is already tripped.

Many members has been running megan high flow cat, yes, It will throw CEL.
Do not affect anything but CEL, Will not go to "Limp" mode.
Also, there are plenty people with RT high flow and they do throw CEL as well.
No big deal really.
For performance, you won't notice much anyways, go with cheaper route.
Oh, who says you can't use high flow cat with turbo?
You can.
