SRI is least maintenace and like stated before iceman or FIPK fit that category.

No Idea, I've never bought one.
Try Froogle.com and punch it in, or go on yahoo or google or something and see who has it.... check honda-tech's vendor sale section too... lots of deals to be had.

in defense of IIP, they matched the internet price on my exhaust, and no shipping.

It's OK, I found a place that's selling it for 99 EUR, which is approx. $127.57. Of course, that doesn't include shipping, lol. Here's the site for anyone interested.

I got my FIPK from a friend from high school who owns his own shop. Cost me $254.40 total with tax. Not bad considering I got quoted $288.-- from either Autozone/Advanced and then $26-.-- from either Autozone/Advanced.

How's $85 for three runs on a dyno sound? Need more info? Message me for information.

that iceman looks promising as does the integra airbox swap but I think they both require some other parts to be relocated and that may be more then you want to do. If you must have an intake and you want to do it cheap and simple get one of the $20 2piece ebay AEM knock offs and just run the top half, that didnt cost me any power and sounded "cool". running it long did cost me power and sounded no cooler. Just be prepared for alot more attention cause even though you dont get much power they are all loud as hell

iceman only involves relocating the fuse box which isn't bad.

I was hoping for less brand specific unless someone has actually had all three types on the same type of sled as me and knows the output to a T. Thanks fellas.
as owner of a V2 all i can say is that when i opened it i was a bit cuz on the box it says cold air intake but look closer and hot damn its an SRI .. anyways ill claim that it improves in the low-end...somewhat.. and it sounds pretty good but other than that its just like any other intake.. expensive but really doesn't do much.. next stop turbo!

i got an AEM cold air on my 04 and its been pretty sweet so far. awesome sound, looks good in the engine bay and performance i cant really tell, thats not really its specialty, but hey if you really care about performance you wouldnt be asking about intakes on a website.

I recently bought the Iceman And I love it......has great gains especially in the low end.......Way better performance than my old aemv2 ...........I highy recommend the Ice man.......Oh but you do have to relocate the fusebox but its much easyier than you would think....

Well I can understand how the iceman setup works. All it does is put a large volume of air above the engine under vaccum pressure so there's always air available in quantity. Works the same as my teg box, create an air mass somewhere and don't deplete the engine's vaccum pressure to get it, it gives you low end. An open element filter with a constant diameter pipe doesn't do that, the engine has to work for what it gets. It works at high RPMs as the vaccum builds, but at low RPMS, you don't get what you could be getting from other systems because of the large filter area overwhich the small vaccum pressure needs to work.
Anyone who wants to get heavily into the short ram vs. CAI arguement and hot vs. cold air.... above 35 MPH, there's enough air blowing through the engine bay that as long as the filter is in line to some clean path of flowing air, it makes no difference in air intake temp.

We shall see, my buddy has his own shop with a dyno here on the southside of Indy. For $100 I get a HP Max Pull plus three 1/4 mile runs. I'll do the original Max Pull with the stock intake in it, plus one 1/4 mile run. Then I'll change the intake and do another run, and we'll see how much it helped/hurt. I'll take pictures of the printouts and post them. Then once I get my exhaust in, we'll run it again and see how much that helped. Obviously this car is headed to faster 1/4 mile runs, we'll just see how much/how long it takes to get there. And yes, I realize I picked a sedan, over the coupe and SI. But frankly, I like the way my sedan looks, and I realize it will take a bit more work to get there, but it will get done. Watch me work, friends.

waiting for the iceman review. So far K&N and aem have both sucked for the most part. At least K&N didn't lose any power, just not much gain.

Didn't get to get on the dyno prior to installing the FIPK II. Looks good, sounds good, can't really tell too much, but you know, you think it's 10 inches, she knows it's only 7 and a half, **** it though, it's hard, who cares?

Pics included, enjoy. Install took 47 minutes, btw. Slow?

^^^Took me about the same time to install my FIPK 2. The thing that took me the longest was putting the insulation strip around the heat shield and then putting the big rubber filter adapter onto the tube. Everything else was a breeze.
