LOL! its been out for all you late people. I couldve got that months ago. AEM just says its still almost coming out because they selling to wholesalers first then posting its out. They are not always quick at updating the site. Either way, above 1 grand is way too expensive for the aem ems for our cars. The ems for our cars will help out alot, but wont do much unless you have alot of mods that can be programmed by the ems. Im going to get that too, but not yet. I need to get best bang for buck products first then in the end the ems will come in handy. I highly recommend all you members to search harder before paying 1000+ on an aem ems. For instance, I could get it for you for less than 1000.
Lets say you have a supra, then this mod will be worth it without buying anything else. The ems will work way better on higher end cars while just helping a little for us vics....

They have a Universal EMS which was debuted at the most recent SEMA. Supposedly it can run any engine up to 10 cylinders and many bells and whistles including traction control. Only thing is, since its universal, you have to figure out how to wire the thing. Then you have to program it from the bottom up on how to run the engine.
Its a definite option for the D17, i just feel bad for the first person that gets it and spends a ton on dyno time getting it programmed.

I found this after logining into AEM's forum
D17A2 EMS Base Map Dyno Numbers
MUSTANG Chassis Dyno test performed on a naturally aspirated HONDA D17A2 with a 30-1070 EMS. Tuned on 91 Octane.
The 30-1070 will be released very very soon.
The 30-1030 will be released in a couple months. This EMS will have all of the benefits of the 30-1070. The only difference is that the stock ECU will be integrated so the factory Coolant Gauge and A/C Switch will still work.
The 30-1070 hardware is complete.
The 30-1030 hardware and 7-wire harness is in engineering/production.

Here is a link to the all the info above, unsure if it will let you in with being a registered user.

Yeah It isnt out quite yet, Ive already called. The 30-1070 is a standalone, you have to rewire the a/c switch and coolant guage. The 30-1030 inter-twines with that factory ECU to keep those 2 options plug and play. The 30-1030 is gunna be a lil while yet, while the 30-1070 is pretty much there. They have a base map but no confirmed date of release.
Aem Ems 30-1070u
If you're interested in the AEM EMS, why wait? I ordered the 30-1070U EMS with UEGO for my vic. So I have to run wiring for the a/c and coolant gauge; I'd rather have one unit, instead of the unit and the oe ecu. Maybe the ebay guy wasn't bullshi*in. Who knows Who cares My ride almost out. Watch Out Everyone
Wow seems like a good mod. Will this work for the 05 Civics Ex 5spd?
Its not that hard to install is it? Its a hefty price, but I'll start saving because from that dyno chart it makes a good amount of hp and tq on a stock d17a2 engine.
