Question Anyone with this Exhaust problem.....

I installed my magnaflow exhaust probably 3 weeks ago, and at first it rattled against the frame AND the bumper whenever i turned right or went over bumps, so i went under, twisted some pipes a little here and there and gave it more clearance, however, it still rattles whenever i go over bumps and turn relavtivley sharp. Is there anything i can do to adjust that you guys may know? What should i do i am baffled. Its also annoying as hell listening to that thing rattle cuz its loud when it does.

mine did this for a while... if you want to fix it yourself you need to position the pipe perfectly... Or you can go to a muffler shop and have then bent it a bit so it doesn't do that.

take it to a muffler shop and get it fixed professionally. Plus if it happens again you can blame them and get them to fix it again.

deciuss is an unknown quantity at this point
no matter how many times i get mine fixed it still rattles a few months latter some times thats just going to happen. for my problem they put in some rubber spacers but i think they fall out after a while or something.

if any one would ever say something thing about it to me i would just say i have a turbo do you? rofl but any ways see if the hooks are making the noise thats my problem

My tanabe pipe was hitting the rear away bar EVERYTIME i turn. the shop wrapped foam and heat resistant tape on the sway bar where the pipe will hit. No sound at all after that.

as for hitting the bumper, you can try to get the shop to bend the pipe for you or another option would be for them to weld a new STAINLESS STEEL hook. the new hook must be welded on and must be placed so there is a little gap between bumper and exhaust, an inch will do. good luck.

i actually just went to murrays auto store and bought another rubber bracket for the hooks, its a little bit longer then the old ones so it should allow more clearance
