can someone please tell me? - Is it a must? i dont want to cut my pipe..

Some say you don't even need it. I don't think you need it, provided you're not an idiot.

But if you want it, you WILL have to cut the pipe.

i had a cai and never bought a bypass valve, and i went throught winter and all that great stuff..and my car is still around. you just have to be careful.

i think u have to cut if u have an injen. might as well get an AEM cause it comes in 2 pieces. during raining season i just take off bottom piece and volia instant short ram

I've got a bypass valve and I'll throw in my wannabe AEM cold air thats already cut, so you won't have to do that
