Is there .....???

My question is ... Is there a high Flow Catalyic Converter for our cars yet?? Yes I know they are welted on to our cars, no problemos just welted off [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG] So do u guys seen one?? Or maybe the high flow conv. from 00 civic Si or other model will fit, or maybe it does not matter since it needs to welted on? Thanks

the cat from the 00 SI wont work becuase the oxygen senors are in different locations than ours....I believe i read somewhere on here that HP racing or something like that is developing a high-flow cat and exaust....

You can always not have a catalytic converter, but it's iillegal. Anyways I know a dude with an si and a greddy n1 exhaust with no catalytic converter and it is loud as hell. hehe

how much louder are we taling about? Besides won't it mess up the back pressure on the exhost?? Who cares if it illegal, laws are ther s you can brake them [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]. So no cat or high flowcat ??? That is the question. To cat or not to cat???

If you have your exhaust custom built you can use a magna-flow or catco or whatever high flow exhaust you like. I'm going to put the EX headers on my LX, high flow cat, custom 2 1/4" piping and tanabe racing medallion exhaust. It will take some minor modding mostly in the terms of getting the 02 sensors to reach, but it will work fine.
