Why do you need to blaspheme God's name like that? That is a bit unnecessary.

there was a post maybe yesterday that had the extreme kit with the t25 for 26xx i believe, but if i were to go with one i would spend the extra money and get the t28bb for like 3199, as far as install, that might have been discussed in the forced induction thread, check around in there

you can get the TSI kit with T25 for $2,599 at streetlevelperformance. I'd suggest going for the T28bb kit though, that's what i'm saving for. Install should be around $500. I'd suggest getting gauges as well: Boost and whatever else you think you might need. With a T25 you're looking at about 166whp and 165wtq @ 6psi. Same with T25bb only with faster spool time and i dunno what with the T28

Have Fun with the T25 guys, probably the smallest turbo next to the 14B you could get. Your getting a kit that uses a stock Mistu turbo on talons/eclipse. Although it might go up to 16psi, your gains will be horrible compared to a T3 setup. No Torque bc no CFM. I would go with the SF kit. I know their reputation has gone to hell on here, but we believe that we can work something out with them because the quality and performance of their kits is amazing. Like i said, ask any shop, putting a t25 on a car is worthless. It cant hold boost that high, its tiny, but one good thing. A new one or junked one cost less than 100 bux. IF your gonna get the TSI kit, might as well just go make your own. My $.02

just a thought. i read that on the TSI kits if you want to upgrade turbos it has to be another Garett turbo. So, i found a place that says they have used GARRETT T3 turbos. could i buy the t25 kit, then put a used t3 instead? interesting idea...the companys link is...http://www.spooledmotorsports.com/usedturbo.html

check it out...

if the flange on the EM fits. Its probably made for a tiny t25 or a decent but still small t28

not this again...
T25bb cermanic blades spooled at 2300rpms
T25 2500 rpms. aprox
t28 3000 rpms
t3 3500 rpms

best turbo for an auto t25bb because you cannot downshift like a stick to build boost or rev.
2300rpms = power instant on tap when driving or when excelerating..this is the tire spinner people.

also figures wrong on an auto 8-9 psi = 170whp on a t25bb
stick t3 7psi=185 whp. get alot less on a t25!
yes big differnce between hp numbers. remember that a t3 isnt instant
ohh yes that was stick
t3 test on auto = 145 whp dezods kit... remove his cat +20 hp more max. Best bet add the cat further down the downpipe.

i just want boost. And for boost noobs like me a TSI kit with a T28bb sounds like a novice level entry. Whenever i've explored new territories i've always started simple, became knowlegable, then broke new ground. For example, my first system ever was a simple Pioneer head w/ a pioneer 760 watt amp and 1 pioneer sub. Within that year my system turned into 4 12's pushing almost 3000 watts RMS with custom everything in fiberglass. (Award winning). Who's to say for us noobs we can't enjoy a tiny T25 or 28 and later upgrade the fuel system and custom fab a turbo manifold for a T3 or T3/T4 hybrid down the road? my $0.02

upgrade the fuel system on any turbo you get!!!!!! thats a must if that kit does not come with a new fuel system drop it!. Personally if I were you and if I had a stick shift I go for the SF kit! However mike isnt making SF kits anymore so why dont you search around and pick up a used one on this site? than since you got it for cheap you can instal it and have money later to upgrade the parts .02 cents
if you want to build your own t28
call up mike get the sf fuel system
hks manifold
hks t28bb with ceramic blades
SF piping or custom piping its cheap stuff and easy find a shop do it for you.
hks bov
greddy e manage
Spearco intercooler
just for starts and peice it all together. this will be the makings of an expensive kit but one with unlimited potential.

all in all you realize for the money to make a civic 185whp you can upgrade to an srt-4? and thats got 233hp

It comes with a fuel system

What the TSI Extreme Kit comes with :
1 Garrett Turbo w/internal wastegate
1 High Nickel Composite Cast Exhaust Manifold
1 Downpipe
1 Fuel Pressure Regulator
1 MAP Unit
1 Oil Return Line and Fitting
1 Air Filter w/piping
1 Injection Control Unit w/Turbo Timer
1 Injector Interface Block w/Injectors

1 Blow Off Valve
1 High flow intercooler w/mounting hardware, pressure tubes, rubber hose connections and clamps

besides, i don't plan on upgrading anything soon, or even have any plans of running more boost then it's set up to do out of the box (6psi) 6spi with a T28bb is all i need to own all the dumbass ricers that run around my town. I'm tired of the dreaded encounters at stop lights with those punks looking over and reving. Soon i can answer back with "VROOOOM! PSSSSSSHH!!! That's enough to shut them up and make em regret going to auto zone and blowing their paychecks on rice.

if htey jsut used a nice manifold and a T3 turbo, the kit wouldnt be all that bad. But ofcourse, that would make it about $600-700 more.

Bottom line: YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!

talon as in DSM uses the T25, so yea, you can get it off him. Sad to see an "aftermarket kit" uses a turbo found in stock mitu Eclipses. Oh well
