hm.....Revo is still doin the same job in 04......cos' if u check out hondaautomotiveparts.com, it's still the same diagram on the "shifter"

dont do that, the revo is short enough and the ebay adapters are crap. Trust me you will be very happy with the revo ss. Its one of my favorite mods and it doesnt make it hard to get into gear like some short throws.

lol..
i got my revo there +capyoda's bysing +grey's pin kit...and im really get used to it....hm..it feels like normal again....
however....i was pretty surprised when i tried the oem shifter which i tried on a used civic on a dealer.....it's soooo long and very mushy (without metal bushing)!!

i dont see what the heck those bushings do. i got them cuz everyone was nuts about them, but i really dont think they make a dif. at least not one that any human can feel! btw, i got a revo ss replica made by obx, works great, ive had it for about a year and a half (or more?). i didnt realize 04 had different shift assemblies!? its still the same two-cable system right?

how much are u paying for the neuspeed SS?
the neuspeed SS is okay.. its one of the better adapters IMO.
but like all adapters, they just change the shifter cable linkage point. when the actual shift stick is shorten, there's more difference in shifting too... so thats why most people prefer the Revo SS or its OBX replica.
in either case though, no matter what u go for.. u'll get used to the shifting eventually. only when u hop back into a car with different shifter, will you remember and notice the difference.

i have the dc adapter and love it...very big difference. Awhile back i got cap yoda's bushings and i looked into getting grey's kit but i believe he stopped making them. He still has a list of what he used for the kit in a thread somewhere.
