Injen RD vs AEM V2....

I'm selling my custom 2.5" intake to my boy. I thinking of getting either and Injen RD or a AEM V2. I know how good the Injen is but I haven't heard anything about the AEM. WHat do you guys think?

i have an aem v2 and itīs pretty cool. sound is awesome, however for ex models itīs not a cold air induction system, so if thatīs what youīre looking for, look elsewhere

I know the CAI are better cuz it's not breathing hot air, but I see that the AEM is lower than a SRI. I am mainly talking about performance wise. Which is better?

you wonīt really gain much performance, i did notice a little bit of extra pull up in the top end but not much.

I have a v2 and love it, I felt more power right away but I think the cheap a$$ ebay intake I had was just really crappy and slowing my car down, so the v2 brought back the stock feel - and then added some power

I would have to agree w/ sw388integra on this one. My RD so vicious if you jump on it. But then agian its your decision and sometimes the location of where you live is also an important part.

good luck w/ deciding.

I would go witht the V2 definately, not only is the sound better and more of a throat-ie muscle sound, but my buddy had the RD and now has a V2 and he says there is really no comparison, the RD had a small power gain from what he felt, but totally lacked that specific feel he wanted. After he got the V2 three weeks ago...he's been a very satisfied customer. I like the sound, yes there is a noticable difference in the way his car feels when you mash the pedal down and yes....the AEM power sound is very sweet.

Go to the website at WWW.AEMPOWER.com

it'll have all the specifics for you.

They don't make one for auto.
Get injen cai.

It's intake, won't gain anything.

The v2 is a short ram for our cars I believe, so it should fit both. I would get the aem since injen has fitment issues.

i believe yours is this model correct?

Honda Civic 2001-03 DX/LX 24-6102 Yes Available $368.75 (pasted from AEMPOWER) <===that is from the aem site.

if so, just order away, but check some other vendors, they'll have it for cheaper because they have to deal with competitive product management.

this site actually had a lot, they'll have to order it, but usually it's a lot less $$$
