What are the pro's and con's of upgrading to a lightweight flywheel?? Especialy with using nitrous (along with a better clutch of course)?

Rep Power: 315 well i got a lightened flywheel, it revs up faster, but also doesnt maintain momentum like the stock one, so starting is gonna be tricky for like the first week or so
personally i like the light flywheel
but i havent noticed an improvement on times at all, the clutch mated to it really helps keep the power planted tho

Rep Power: 278 so you would probably stall your car going slow (5km/h) unlike the car does with the stock clutch? I was under the impression that a lighter flywheel helped acceleration.

Rep Power: 0 depends what you use your car for...
if it's a daily driver, always stuck in rush hour...then no, don't get one....
lighter flywheel is suppose to help you accelerate faster...but only if you have the hp to back it up....with nearly stock engine, it's not worth it...
another thing is that if you get a lightened flywheel, you got to get light rims because of the lost momentum....if you have stock rims or anything heavy, your gonna stall your car much more easily...

Rep Power: 315 well ppl say that its hard to drive for a daily driver.. but it also depends on how much time they spend driving it... ive driven my car iwth the new clutch and flywheel for probablly 3 months now, with stock rims, and heavier tires... and i can tell you, give it time and you will get used to it.. then let ur buddies drive it and watch them stall it EVERYTIME.. heheh
