My friend has a 2000 silver ex. hes mostly exterior styling etc.. he doesnt really want to do anything to the engine because of financial reasons etc.. But he would like to have a muffler to make it atleast sound nice. He wants the loudest meanest sounding muffler he can for his car within a reasonable price ranger, under 200? He really wants it to be loud dont ask me why. anyways any help appreciated thanks.

being loud is a mistake man talk him out of that...especially if u have "finacial reasons" too loud u get pulled over...trust me i have duals in mi car straight pipe no resonator....it was one big mistake..it gets to u in a while.thank god i had silencers that came with the muffler.....plus sounds like ****.......get one that has nice deep quiet tone

magnaflow 2.5INCH cat back with resonator = 300 bucks but u can get the resonator with the muffler for about.....100 installed and welded but i dont know how good it will sound. i got the whole 2.5 inch with resonator and its the best one i got , deep quiet sound and very impressive. my friends were shocked of the great sound

well i got my ebay catback for about ummm 280? best 280 spent.... everything sounds nice....deep tone when in low rpms and medium/high tone when in high rpms.... i dont care what people say about ebay items being too low of quality....well so far so good with my exhaust

I agree with that, tell your friend to get one of the tsudo cat backs for something, I have heard them and they sound nice as ****. And you spend like $100 more for this.

ok but here is a really good question ....i know magna flow is good and so is the N1apexi .....which one is the best of these two and sounds better and proforms beta and is jus beta ....does any one has the N1 installed???

performance wise on our car, you wont get much between the 2. I have heard both and I think the N1 sounds a bot better. But both are a good choice.

i have the N1, with 2.5" custom piping, came off my wrecked DC2...i love it, sounds deep in low RPMs and sounds higher as the RPMs go up

I got my Megan Racing cat-back for $324 shipped (eBay), but I saw Tsudo looks similar, ita probably identical.. (sound, looks, etc)

It sounds really deep too, not ricey at all from inside the car, I was told that from behind it sounds a bit ricey.. but I did a drive by recording and it doesnt sound bad to me at all..

no its not for me i swear lol. i drive a cobra, so is the opposite for me, he just isnt much of an internet person and this is by far the easiest way of finding out what you need to know. thanks for all the help so far

if he wants crazy loud, tell him to buy a hi flow cat test pipe/resonator and run open cat. i did that and my car was so fcukin loud, i get paranoid driving around.

as for muffler, the apexi n1 sounds nice and loud but not from stock piping. if hes willing to invest into 200 or so, might as well add in another bill and get that tsudo catback that sells on eBay. i heard that exhaust system is pretty loud and doesnt sound that bad either...

and i cant beleive your letting your friend become more of a ricer. talk that fool out of doing stupid things for his ride. school him or something. go up to him and say "does loud mean faster?" in a sarcastic* tone. do something, not help him do the ricer things!

Yes it is similar, but the one in the video uses custom piping, and depending on whether or not he got mandrel bent piping will also make a difference in how it sounds and performs. And the one on ebay uses mandrel bent piping. And it is bolt on which I think is better.

You arent really going to find anything cheaper. Maybe keep looking around for the same exhaust, maybe someone has a cheaper shipping price. It is a pretty good deal if you ask me.

what would you describe the tone of the this exhaust? is it a low tone or move of a high one? The one in the video of the apexi n1 sounds too me a little bit higher with kinda of a muscle car throaty sound, anyways all the reviews ive read say its a low tone muffler, but from the ideo it doesnt really sound that way? Anybody have any experience on the tone this tsudo n1 makes? if not thanks anyways guys youve been a big help.
