air filter questions
I just got a 2001 ex 4 dr and was wondering what is the best air filter to put on it. also how much hp gain would i get if i do put one on. I might sound like a newb but then what would be the next thing i would put on to make my auto have atleast some horse instead of stock 127.
K&N filters usually free up some air flow, but there are mixed reviews regarding aftermarket airfilters on this site.
It is best to search and make a informed decision.
Personally, I would stay with stock. If Honda thought it was neccessary to put a high flow filter in the car they would have put it in at the factory or offered it as an option.

well, that 127hp is at the crank, not the wheels. You prolly have about 105whp.
You can put on a K&N filter or install a CAI or SRI and get about 2whp.
