OK I own a 2004 Civic Ex Sedan and it is auto. Now I found an AEM Cold Air Intake on eBay but the intake is for a 04 Civic Ex 5 Speed. Can I buy that one and still use it on my auto car?

NO. The only intake yo can use in an auto will be the short 'ram' style. There isn't enough room to fit the pipe between the tranny and the radiator.

i believe injen makes the cold air for automatic applications. but aem does not. theirs something with the tranny that doesnt work well with cold airs. automatic applications usually get the short rams. i wouldnt try risking putting that cold air onto ur auto either.

if you didnt know yet, short ram intakes dont do much for our cars. they sound nice though. check out the "parts/reviews" in the upper catergory.

Injen does make a CAI for the automatic. I just installed mine yesterday well actually just the upper half anyways. I ran out of time and wasn't able to finish install. So I guess i really have a short ram now huh? Plan on finishing it this week hopefully. Does sound great though.
