cam gears

hey guys im from pakistan and in our country civic comes in to engine models 1.6 vtec and 1.5 both of them r SOHC .... the 1.6 vtec has 135 bhp and 1.5 has 115 bhp ....but ur civic in USA has 1.7 vtec engine ...my brother is coming from states and i told him to bring AEM cam gers for me sooo i wanted to know is tht the 1.5 , 1.6 , 1.7 SOHC engines of honda fit similiar cam gears????

The 1.7 is different from the 1.6, and cam gears won't give any power gains to begin with unless you've got an aftermarket camshaft.

it doesnt sound right if you have a 1.6 and 135bhp and us EX owners have a 1.7 and only 127 bhp

WELLL STILL NO 1 GAVE THE ANSWER OF MY QUESTION ....BUT THE THING THT WE HAVE 130-135 BHP I CAN PROOVE IT TO U GUYS.... WWW.HONDA.COM.PK CLICK IT AN FIND OUT FOR UR SELF AND YES CAN U PLZ GIVE ME A LINK FOR AN AFTER MARKET CAM SHAFT
