k20a is only sold in europe or japan. the k20a ecu will not pass smog but put on a k20a2 will make a small diffrence but you wil lhave to bring the k20a2 up to spec.

well the k20 ecu wouldnt work for the d17... but you can probablly get a d17/d15b ecu from a ferio... altho im not sure what difference in gains you would get... but hey if you got that kinda money.. might as well try it out

mugen ecu
i just bought the mugen n1 ecu for $1300 and $600 for valve springs for my JDM K20A in my 02 civic ex coupe... need $$$ to burn for swaps nowadays... best bet, send ur ecu to hondata to get it chipped.... save some $$$ like only $3-5 hundred...
My car is from Japan, so I guess that the ECU is from Japan but I don't think that there is a difference in performance but would the D15B ECU work on our D17. And also for you information in my country there is a 1.5L 01+ Civic ........ Yes guys believe it. The engine code is d15Yxxxxxxx
