kamakaze headers

I was looking at these kamakaze headers cuz somebody recommends me to get them.

Does anybody know anything about these? Any good power gains?

IMO this mod does not give you much. I just installed it, and the most notable change is more exhaust noise. I think there's a little more power at the top now. Not worth it IMO.

I noticed a better/quicker pickup from the start and smother shifts between gears(auto). I like it. I also got mine from bigjoshracing. The ceramic headers I got. Nice mod to do. Better airflow out and less back pressure.

if u do not have exhaust and you slap on a header would that make your car sound like you have an exhaust? Or would it make any noise?

I am a fan of the kamikaze, but since there is little gain what so ever save the money and put it in either your suspension or a turbo fund.

on the positive side, the Kamikazi (along with my Tanabe) does allow you to startle the hell out of animals and people. Coast up alongside, downshift and nail it and you definitely annouce your presence. I'm sure I've caused several bicyclist heart attacks already. This combo is really too loud (and a bit ricey) for my taste, but I'll enjoy for a few more days.

dont buy the black coating, the paint wears off fast, it isnt high temp paint, you sould paint it urself before putting it in (if u get black)

i just put the DC Sports ceramic 4-1 on my 02 SI coupe and noticed quite a difference throughout the range, more in the lows though. I also have the APEXi WS with this and its not loud at all.

I would definiately recomend DC's headers, easy install too

If you don't have an exhaust it probably won't change the sound of it. I have the stock exhaust and hp header, and I didn't notice any change. Then again, the stock exhaust is quiet and I couldn't hear it before I installed the header, either. So if it changed anything, I didn't notice it.

The EX is an Si Coupe. The part for the DCsports headers is the same as the EX's. I'm sure some people may not like them, i have had nothing but good luck with DC Sports equipment.. always fits right with any F&^kin around.

Kamikaze.. go ahead an pay an extra 250 bucks for that 1/2 horsepower your gonna get.. actually give me that 250 bucks and i will stick my foot out your door for you and paddle.. introductory rate ...

so what's a good header for an lx?? just the kamakaze headers and thats it?? i was going to get this one header out of a book, i forgot the name, but it was for an ex.. so i was going to use the top portion of it, but then my friend said that it wasn't worth it.. to just buy one to fit my car.

well, according to the link posted above, the DC header is signifigantly MORE expensive than the kamikaze, plus it doesnt eliminate the cat like the kamikaze does, which makes a pretty big difference on our cars.
