Ok, as some of you already know, I recently added KW Variant 2 coilovers, BF Goodrich G-force KDW 2 tires (215/45/17) and a Tanabe Super Hyper Medalion to the 7GC, and just thought I'd share the results.......
A friggin +
Coilovers are aggressive. They are very bumpy on bad pavement, which gives a rollercoaster ride, but WOW when you hit smooth pavement. OMG, you feel like you own the road.
The tires create a fair amount of road noise, but conering and traction along with response to steering is top knoch. They are truly worth the dough if you have it.
The Tanabe Hyper Medalion is quite possibly my favorite stock style exhaust for our cars right now. Full SS, stock style and not too much of a TQ theif. Great response @ 45+ MPH. Great tradeoff. Exhaust is sleek.
All parts and components were thoroughly tested on the QEW yesterday from Buffalo to Toronto at excessive speeds.

I don't even consider exhausts "performance" parts for our cars, they are more likely to take away power than add it. I have come to the conclusion that if you want performance, you have definitely got the wrong car.

I'll take a mild boost all the way through with a side of low end torque please.
That exhaust looks pretty nice. Similar to the RS*R but hangs a little lower it looks like.

This car can put down performance, it just requires some thought and forced induction.
The exhaust has nice flow and sound. It does hang a smidge lower than the RS*R. It does give some nice mid-range response. The only problem with our car is the lack of speed that is supplied form Honda, but keep in mind show me a car that is $14K fully loaded and throws down serious numbers without performance mods done to it. Remember, the Civic is built for economy according to Honda, but a project to the tuners.

You can slap a turbo on anything, that doesn't do it for me. I'm not saying our cars SHOULD be fast, they are economy cars, exactly. I've given up on any hopes of making my car fast...I'd rather just start with something fast, like an STI, or 350z, and make THAT faster. Our Civic is also a joke in the Honda tuning community, go over to honda-tech, you'll see.

$14K plus mods........
If I had crazy dough..... 350Z or STi > 7GC
Because I don't............ 7GC > STi & 350Z
