Can someone post a pic of where they connected wires? I'm reading the book and it's showing more than 10 different wires.
Should I just use the one Carbonfly posted in tech and just tap those wires? I'm really confused.

I'm looking at mine and there's alot more than 6 wires to connect.
So do the other wires just color code to the ECU wires? Like throttle, power, ground...
Also, I'm a bit confused about the initial setup before turning the car on. It says a bunch of stuff to do. Can anyone explain? And we've got 4 cylinders, right?
How does the acceleration thing work?
And is it a must to disconnect the battery before install?

you should just take it somewhere if you can...It kinda seems to be over your head a bit. I really don't mean that in a smartass way, it's just that you can really screw your car up if you don't know what your doing.
Your're right, there's 13 total and you'll need to connect 11 of them (everything but VTC and TDC). My bad, my post on the 6/7 wires were wire types/functions (Power, Ground, RPM, Throttle, VTM, VTEC, and Pressure) and not actual total as there are input and output wires for ground, power, vtec, etc. The vafc2 wires don't color code to ecu wires you'll have look at the plugs and eyeball which wires are what, just follow their added diagram and you'll be fine.
As far as initial setup...
Just before doing initial setup, while turning ignition on press gas pedal down for 10 seconds, then release for another 10 seconds before moving on to initial setup settings step. This step takes care of step 6 below...
1. Sensor = 06 & 06
2. Cylinders = 4
3. Throttle Voltage = automatic
4. Throttle Type = Arrow pointing NE
5. VTEC Type = 1
6. See above...
7. VTC = N/A
8. Turn off ignition and your settings get saved
*** Yes, you must disconnect the negative battery terminal before installing the wires!!! You're working w/ lower gauge wires and more power compared to lights and one crossed wire could fry your ECU (during the wire connection process). Sounds scary, but just disconnect it and make double sure which wires go to what. You'll be fine, just PM me if you have any other questions.
cwick is right though... if this seems overwhelming just take it somewhere to get installed as you don't want to fry your ecu if your unsure about the process. APEX-I shops are few and far between, but most dynos that tune vafc2's will install them as well.

Thanks for the info. I'm just not clear on where the other wires go that are not in the diagram.
EDIT: Sorry, I'm stupid. I just realized some wires are doubles that connect to the same ECU wire. Okay, so I'm just following the wire diagram. THANKS!!
Hopefully later tonight I can get this to work. My mount is almost done.

Just started reading about these, are they worth the coin? How easy are these to adjust without having to spend money at a Dyno shop? Are they ment to use on a stock car or more if you have bolt ons, intake exhaust?

well.. if you have an air/fuel meter, you can sorta get in the area where you want, but i think its worth it, it gives the most proven hp out of any other mod you can do for that price...

I just installed mine. Not very happy cause I couldn't solder connections. Had to use stupid splices that suck and I hate electronics. Well, hopefully it stays good. It's so freezing cold outside and I was doing this for a couple hours.
Anyway, I guess it's working. I took it out for a spin and everything seemed to be working for the monitors and stuff.
Thanks again everyone for the help. Once spring comes around, I may redo the connections. There's just so little space back there!!
And no I didn't feel any gain. It's all stock settings, and stock car. Just glad it's working properly.
Oh to answer the questions, once it's plugged in, it stays plugged in. Also, it saves your settings when ignition is turned off.
Mine's just sitting in the glove box, but I'll post pics once I get the mount put in.

I don't think so, since it's pretty much like any other intake/exhaust type mod. The only way would be if it somehow messes up the car. Then it wouldn't be covered, since the aftermarket part caused the problem.
