Exhaust Question...

Exhaust Question... I just put on my new Magnaflow Catback exhaust system... but you can't hear anything? Is it because it needs to break in alittle? Because i double checked all the seals and they are all ok. So what could this be? My $50 muffler from Pepboys was louder than this???

Yeah the Magnaflow is soo quiet. Not like you would expect. Personally I like it to be quiet. . Loud is just kinda ricey in my opinion unless your car has the ***** to back it up.

It will get louder over time as the glass pack wears away. I don't know how much louder, but it will get louder.

Rep Power: 307 ^ yup, my HKS gets louder as my car warms up. Do a little highway driving to pursh your car, then after a little bit of that, you should notice it being a little bit louder. You could barely hear my HKS the day I put it on. It took a while before you could actually notice it.

Rep Power: 0 If u want loud get a set up like me! No Cat, no reso....LOUD! People always complain about loud exhausts and all of that but it's personally your prefference. In my opinion I see that Honda's when tuned normally sound loud and obnoxious so why try to hide it right?

Rep Power: 0 Yeah i figured it just needs to break in.... i'm getting one of thoughs HKS hi flow downpipe so i'm sure that will help. But i don't want to be ricey loud... just a nice deep tone. Just noticable i guess...
