oi. dont spend any money on expensive mods that doesn't do anything.. bolt-ons will honestly not give you the power it should for the money.
say you spend a grand on I/H/E, 200 on intake, 200 on header, and 500 on exhaust (oaky thats 900 but say tax and shipping. lol)
you'll get 10 hp imo at the most... or NONE! you'll probably still be as fast as stock, or a better driver can still take you easily even though his car is stock.. etc. etc.
or you can spend 700 and a bit more for an install on a 50-60 shot of nitrous.. that, you'll definitely feel.
iridiums are waste of money. pullies are waste of money. exhaust are waste of money. intakes are waste of money. header are waste of money.
in terms of power.
but they have their appeal factor too. so you gotta take a look at everything. some people slap on a I/H/E and they know full well that they're not any faster.. but its fun, thats why we mod our cars, no?
a lot of us, if we start over again.. would save up the money for the cool expensive mods that really reflect and show.. not the expensive small mods that adds up to nothing..
2,800-3,400 for turbo. start saving.

Yea I guess...I should reconsider....but damn I mean I just have the honda tuner gitters...I got to mod something on my car. So what should I do just to satisfy myself....and still save for a turbo.
I just bought a Neuspeed front strut tower brace. It rocks. If you dont have one, you should get one. Its fun to put in and you can feel the difference, especialy in fast sweeping corners and sudden lane changes. I am going to wait till it quits raining and then buy a cai cause i like the way they sound. I really dont need any more power and if I did I would start saving for a turbo or motor swap. But mods are cool so go with it.

You can always spend money on exterior mods for looks and still save for the turbo. Almost everything I have on my car is for looks. Neuspeed front strut bar does work well, and an exhaust with bigger piping will be good for turbo. Work on the exterior and interior. Alot of mods are cheap or free (check the DIY section).

K&N FIPK II is the best intake. It's a short ram intake but it has a heatshield to keep out warm air. It's also made of plastic so it doesn't get hot like all the metal ones (AEM, Injen, etc.). It also has no low end loss of torque, unlike just about everything else out there. As far as sound, it sounds the same as stock up through about 4k rpm and then gets a bit louder from 4k to redline. But it's not annoyingly loud at all, it sounds nice. And besides, you're only above 4k rpm for a little bit when accelerating hard anyway so it's not going to be loud all the time like some exhausts.
