AEM SRI is better than a AEM CAI V2?

This is the result or dyno from AEN's website on a Civic Auto EX

SRI -

Don't waste money on an intake. I had an AEM SRI and at first it was cool. Then the noise and loss of low end power got to me. The FIPKII probably has the best gains for an intake, but you'll still have that noise. They do sell an OEM K&N air filter if you want to mod.

Look at the gains for us LX drivers... this you can feel.

The EX before VTEC cam profile it not design for real power, its there for fuel economy, and the VTEC prodifle on the stock came isn't tuned for more power through the intake unless you are forcing it in (IE turbo, SC, or a basic RAM air. RAM air won't show gains on a dyno but will when your over 60 MPH on the road.)

V2 -

I went from the AEM CAI to the K&N FIPK II and it was a big improvement in low end torque...I recommend this intake over any other that is available for our cars

Well, it all depends on how much you want to believe an Excel spreadsheet dyno.

Hell, if you believe that, then I have an intake I'll sell you for less than the V2. Here's it's dyno. Look at those HUGE GAINS!! btw, this dyno is absolutely real, I didn't just make it in Excel in 3 minutes lease:

I don't have anything to compare it to, but I love my FIPK II.
As for the dyno...psh, AEM can say whatever they want. I don't believe it.

And the sad thing is that so many ricers actually fall for this type of thing.
