what would you do ?

i got some money saved up and was gonna get a cat back system and headers, was gonna go with the tanabe smr's and maybe some dc sport 4-2-1 or 4-1 headers but still not sure if i want dc sports but i wanna put a turbo kit in my car one day and just remembered that a turbo kit comes with its own headers, and was thinkin should i get headers with the cat back system even though some day im gonna get a turbo kit, or should i just hold off on the headers and just get the cat back system but i heard with just a cat back system/muffler and intake installed on your car it really lowers gas mileage, what do you guys think ?

mine went down with aem v2 intake, but i would say dont get the header and just get a catback but it also depends on how far in the future your getting a turbo

oh no its either get headers and cat back now and then get a turbo later and be wasting money on the headers because turbo kits come with one or get just a cat back and just wait for the turbo header that comes with the turbo kit

EDIT: oh also, how much does it cost to install a cat back and headers ? heard installing headers is alot because they have to take out the entire engine to install it

don't get either, and get that turbo that much sooner. Run it with stock exhaust sleeper style , until you get a cat back.

I say install the Cat back yourself. Of course depending on which one you get and all. I installed my Catback myself, only took about an hour to do so. So all I payed for was the Cat back and got familiar with the exhaust system on my car. It was a win win situation. I do all my installs anyway. There is no trust better than trusting yourself doin the work, if you want it done right.
