Not, trying to flame but (again), Do you really think you stock axles could handle 12 sec's? Does anyone make axles for the D17? will any other years work? If not i really dont think thats possible, unless you go custom which is alot of $$$
It seem as if you want a REALLY strong motor, but how are you going to get the power to the ground?

welll my friend... NOT trying to flame you.. but go to your honda dealer.. in thier own book.. 2002 dx cuope = 2245 with AC... i wieghed mine a while back before turbo it was about 2160 with parts, no a/c and some stripped out (trunk).. also, no our axles wont hold up, but yes, i am getting axles made.. hot rod shops make cutoms axles ALL the time.. im getting them made to hold 500hp... wont need it, but just in case...gonna cost me about $400 for the pair... and custom traction bars will probly help me, and i have a guy working on that now.. hmmm.. any other questions.. ..just feel salty, noone thought we would see 13s w/o swap, now cat and i are there, and others that just havent been to track... and all with STOCK motors.. DH racing is gonna build me a whole motor next spring to hold up to 30psi, what will your excuse be then when im seeing low 12's @ 20psi? this was all done without slicks too... i think if i had 25" slicks and my traction bars already on liht rims instead of 20+ lb steelies, i couldve hit 13.3 or so...

Your Results
Your civic weighs about 2465 pounds and can complete a 1/4 mile in about 13.12 seconds. That means that you've got about 215.73 HP at the wheels, and about 280.44 HP at the flywheel
now i know i have 215 at the wheels, but im not running a 13.12, i just made the 1/4 time up to get my correct whp

if you had 215 at the wheels.. you would have about 250-260 TOPS at the flywheel... hondas have more efficient transmissions thatn most cars.. like i said before we only lose about 15%....
