I recently installed this part on my car, and my check engine light came on. I reset the computer and it came back on again. So I thought I did something wrong, took it all apart and started over. Same result. I took the car to Honda and they told me that the computer was reading "slow throttle input" but I don't know how to fix it. Honda reset the computer as well, but two days later the light was back on. Any sugggestions other than just take it off would be greatly appreciated.

Did you notice any gains? Does it raise the intake 1" since your adding more space? Are you sure there's no air leaks or anything?

I guess I don't understand how you can increase the size of the throttle body with a spacer? Seems to me like it would be a waste of money. I dunno. I suppose the light came on because the computer is expecting one thing and this "spacer" is trying to do another.
If you don't want to take it off. Pull your gauge cluster apart and stick a peice of black electrical tape over the check engine light or have the ECU reprogramed to accept the new part. Maybe a Jet ECU reprogram would do it. . I'm not for sure though.

Uh so did you get a gain or not?
Did you reset you ECU afterwards and let it sit for 15 minutes to calibrate to the new air flor amount?

that doesn't get rid of the signal the code is getting. the tape, that is. sure u wont see the light, but something is still wrong.. and the car will still act like something is wrong.
slow throttle respond means there's something wrong there....
kinda funny when the tower is suppose to produce better flowing throttle, no?

I noticed very little gain. I did reset the ECU, twice, and it still keeps kicking out that code. I would take it off, but I forgot where I put the factory bolts for the throttle body.
