In my experiance there hasnt been large gains to be had. And you arent going to truely see remarkable results from a brand name intake. Mainly they just produce a sound, and maybe about 3 more horsepower. In order to see a significant boost in performance, you would have to use some sort of forced induction, or swap the engine for a more high performance oriented one. I would suggest you purchase one off ebay instead of going with AEM.

I bought one a long time ago its not plastic it just not polished. the big difference is that you cant buy just any front tower bar. but for performance no difference either one its still just piping. Oh another problem I ran into is that the filter is 2.5" not 3" like most filters I have found.

yeah if you want the most HP you can get (which is not alot), you will have to go with Injen, that is my opinion, but AEM does have a better look to it.

don't waste your money on injen or aem. they look nice but it is just a metal tube. which actually isn't good anyway because the metal is just going to get hot and heat the air. plastic would be better but I don't know who makes one. I just sold my injen cai for 50 bucks. it's not very impressive. and it's only 2.5". but that doesn't matter because that is all the throttle body is.

Well I bought one called bombz and had a hella hard time installing it. For one none of the brakets on the tubing fit anywhere on my chassis to keep the intake from moving around. Also Do any one u guys have a intake that runs right by the battery where that cable thing. I know that aem gives you a new braket!
