What is a velocity stack?
I searched, but I just saw people mention it, never say what it was or did.
It sounds like some sort of throttle body spacer.
Anyone know for sure?
Thanks,
IronFist

these are velocity stacks for an aircooled vw used on top of each barrel of the carbs to straighten and clean up air flow thereby adding more velocity to the air.

if you own an AIR COOLED VW with dual carbs and you are missing a velocity stack, well then sure, its worth it.

most aftermarket air filters have a velocity stack built in.
all this means is their is a "rounded funnel" that flows air better.
it's kinda trumpet shaped, rounded on the outside. the stacks you are thinking of (i think) stick out the front of the car. these are for track only. (no filter) akimoto makes these for the civic...
