flywheel question...

I plan to get the SF Turbo kit once my 36k miles is up and I also plan to get an ACT Clutch (HC5-HDOO). I'm just wondering, with boost, would getting a new flywheel help or would it not be worth the extra 250 bucks or so? if it is worth it, could you please point me in the direction as to which one to get and where to get it? Thanks a lot.

it makes sense, as you will save on duplicate labor for the install of the flywheel, while doing the clutch. The JUN ultra light is the best one to get, but it is the most expensive (forgot how much i spent on it) i got it from Exact motorsports in N Cal. You can check the web. The flywheel for the 6th gen civic will fit ours. You could get a cheaper one also some available ones are:
Unorthodox racing
Fidanza
ACT has a line of flywheels now, check w/ them
Clutch Masters....

BTW; if you are expecting power increases due to your flywheel, you won't get it (you may get some due to a more efficient tranny, though) But it is beneficial in many other ways. It reduces the tranny inertia & allows you to change RPM quicker, so helps acceleration & reduces engine braking. The weight reduction is equivalent to 15~ 20 lbs or so as it is a rotational mass, so your power:weight ratio increases...
