I'm planning to put the following mods on my stock 2002 ex coupe. What kind of HP gains do you think I'll see? Can the stock bottom end handle a zex nitrous kit after these mods? Thanks.
Tsudo N1 style cat-back exhaust
Random Technology high-flow catalytic converter
AEM v2 cold air intake
DC sports ceramic header
AEM TruPower underdrive pulley kit
Also, any suggestions on different parts are appreciated (though I am on a VERY tight budget, so there aren't many choices)

k, delete the pulleys. that'll save me $150 at least
But really, does no one know what this thing will put out? According to the manufacturers, they'll be like +10hp each, but I know thats a lie.

Maybe 5hp total. That's a good setup though if you don't want to go turbo. The cat will probably help the most. My friend has a 99 civic and he could feel a difference with pulleys.

really...I thought dry was safer, because the nitrous is introduced into the system before the fuel, so there's less chance of it reacting...Also, the nitrous being introduced further away from the intake manifold give the nitrous more time to cool the air, producing more power, right? Also, if the i/h/e combo won't give much horsepower at all, is there any reason I should get it if all i want is about 170hp at the crank?
no. there is a better chance that you will lean out with a dry kit.
the wet kits supply the extra fuel that you need instead of relying on the car's computer to supply it. if you don't have extra fuel you will blow the motor.

ah. So nx or nos? I want like a 50 or 60 shot, thats relatively easy to install and is reliable...im not that concerned with the crazy performance aspects right now...I'll get a direct port system when that time comes. Any suggestions on which system and where to buy?

anyways, I'm starting to think about a turbo kit now. Only problem is...I can't find one for the 7th gen anywhere! Does anybody know where I can find a turbo kit for the 2001+? I know a place that can custom fabricate one well, but I don't even want to think about the price of that.

ok. The turbodiscounters.com kit looks good. I have a question though. If I get the turbo kit, what parts which I originally planned on should I still get? I know I won't need the exhaust manifold, but what about the cat? and the intake? Is there any special equipment I should get for a turbo kit that isn't included in the package?

ok. Im looking at the two kits they have. One adds 30%...that would be about 165 at the crank. The other adds 56%, which is 198 at the crank. It is my understanding ("The Honda Performance Builder's Handbook" tought me everything I know) that the bottom end of honda's (pistons, rods, and lack of cylinder sleeves) can generally handle about a 50% increase in HP. Should I go for the 56% increase? Or would that be risking it too much. Just want opinions. I want the added horsepower, but could by bottom end reliably handle it?
