which intake

im looking on performancetuning.com and im cant decide which intake to buy.they have the regular injen intake system for 158.00 and the race division cold air intake for 207.00.
so is it worth paying 50 dollars more or will i not notice at all?

The cold air thing is very over rated. The flow of the air is a lot more important than the temp (not that temp is not important..but a warmer better flow is preffered to colder crappy flow) Nuespeed has a good product...as does K&N. Neither is cold air. Even the AEM V2 is a short intake. Do some searching and research on this site. Good luck. Hopefully I didn't make your decision harder instead of easier.

the AEM V2 is the best for our cars, currently on the market, by about .2hp. But you won't notice any difference from one CAI to the other. I've got the Injen CAI and my buddy has the AEM and the only difference is mine is slightly louder. Generally speaking CAI are better performers than SRI, but on our cars it makes no real difference, since our engines are so hard to get gains from.

yep, ive decided on a custom setup...including a special short ram for a 92-95 civic(looks like the new iceman) with the rubber elbow(or cut piping) to fit the TB and one of those heatshielded filters along with a ram air kit...the ram air duct looks like this
