I have the same exact car and the same dilemma. Maybe one of us should sell our car and then use the money to pop a turbo on the other.

Thats what I have. A friend who also has an auto LX has the injen and we both agree my K&N sounds better.

Homer, have you noticed any torque gains with the K&N FIPK? Are there any torque gains with the Injen SRI? Do any of these intakes increase torque, HELP IM A NEWBIE.

seems like ur all mostly going with the CAI rather than the AEM short ram...is there really a performance diff, cuz after all, we only got 115hp to start with anyway...the best i'm hoping for is some additional low-end torque when i put it in...reason i'm askin is cuz i'm basically a cheap a$$ trying to get the best bang for the buck :P (tryin to save up for 17" and springs, hell, anything's gotta look better than my current 14")

btw, thanx all for your advice!

the thing is, he has an auto and it's prob not gonna fit if he tries a CAI... you can go custom

for an auto LX, i'd go with the K&N like my friend..
