Rep Power: 0 Headers? Worth it for d17a2
My em2 ex coup is stock but just with a short ram intake, is it worth me doing exhaust work like the headers or is it pointless? Any gains/sounds difference ?

sound, mostly. maybe an ever-so-slight shift in the power ban (e.g. lose a small bit in low end, gain a small bit high end)

not sure on a stock engine.
It did a difference on mine, but it already had a crower stage 1 camshaft (EX car)
might not make a difference for a stock cam. stock header is not a bad design.

I would say no. The stock header is a very good design as is. A cheap Ebay header would probably have no effect on performance at best, and crack or otherwise cause a problem, or reduce power at worst. If you want a quality header, you’ll be paying $200 and up if you find a good deal. The rest of the system is much more restrictave than the header anyway. I would say the money for a header is better spent on a weld-on high flow cat like a Magnaflow. The cat is the most restrictive part of the system.
