OK so about 3 years ago i bought the DC Sport adapter. i guess it was a good concept.. well dc sport got bought out so you wonder where that part went....
Anyways i bought the revo short shifter a few months after that in 2005 and it was awesome til about 5 months ago when the welded on part where the cable connected snapped, i guess after a few auto-x runs were too much so i bought another one, only this time it had a bolt and screw design.. was pretty good til about august of 2008 i was goin about 70mph on the highway and the entire thing fell apart.. so i pulled over and fixed it but the screw was stripped.. so i contacted revo and i got a new bolt and screw and bushings etc. Well today say two months after that happened it happened again.. so i write this review that it feels good, its shorter in design than stock and 40% shorter throws, but the quality of the bolt and screw are bad. its not worth the trouble.. right now im back to the dc sport adapter on the stock shifter and it feels really weird but it works..

I've had mine for 3 years too and it's great. It was a little loose for a while but I fixed it with a drill and a staple =)
The only thing is since it shifts so short, I feel like it's never REALLY in first gear, so when I shift to second, it sometimes somewhat pops out by itself along with my shift. Anyone else get this?

I have REVO SS for a year....the adjustment screw is too short and easy to strip. I used some metal to metal bonding glue to hold it.
Not yet have any problems. But i have never tried AutoX either.
