Funny, I've yet to see another white LX coupe on the road. I've seen plenty of silver LX and EX, and more than a few dark green LX coupes. Only seen a couple of HXs and they've been black.
I also see lots of sedans...

well mine's a sedan and they're pretty popular around here. that's why i'm trying to make mine look a little less like a family car. =) i've always driven white cars....it's a tight color that doesn't really go bad and fade like others out there.
Yeah, my first car was Vail White, then I had one that was Light Pewter Metallic, then Berlina Black, then Platinum Silver Metallic, now Taffeta white
White is nice, low care color. Silver is good to, but after a while the metallic can fade and leave you with gray
I am glad the Civic is white. It wasn't my first choice, but when buying used you dont always get first choice. I actually wanted an HX CVT but those were hard to find.
I've washed the car twice since Jan 03 when I got it. Any color besides white or silver would look horrible right now

HEHE yeah I am waiting for even a couple days of no rain so I can wash my car or it will be for a waiste since I have to drive it to work all the time. I need a few days to enjoy the shinyness. But yeah last time I washed my car was before I left my car in storage for a mth and half which was in early feb. So it will get a wash before this mth is over. Yeah there is another silver civic where I work but its like 4 door ex 2003 model. Haven't seen him though to tell him about the site but he was parked behind me today so maybe he saw the stickers and will check it out. But he cares about his car because it was parked way the hell out on a curb, where I park hehe. Nothing done to it really.
The more I see the green ex's the more I like them. Black and blue are dark so they would show the road grimme really bad.

Once the weather gets nice for more than a few hours at a time
I plan on giving the car a good one-over. When I first bought it, the engine bay was filthy, but I washed it. Well, its filthy again (the Civic gets a lot of road spray through the grille and into the engine bay).
I'll do the engine, clay and Zaino the exterior, remove and wash the rubber mats (and this time leave them out), and thats about it.
On my past cars, I'd do this like once a month... With the Civic, it will be once every spring
Also, with the white exterior, I am not "nervous" about driving through a car wash (the cloth ones, not brushes).
I want to keep the car looking nice, but I realize that I don't have to be a fanatic to do so

Yep I see this hot blond around the Albany area often with a black 7th gen with chrome rims on it with a aftermarket front bumper and possibly a kit all around. But yeah have never been on the same side of the road as her so maybe one of these days she will spot the 7thgencivic.com sticker and maybe join us. But yeah saw a really nice decked out silver civic with z3 fenders and some other stuff done nicest 7th gen I have seen around here yet. But still not many members from this state, but a lot of people dont deck out cars here so dunno.
But yeah haven't been around lately so any new people from OR on here?

Well guy, after searching around I found a insurance company who is willing to give me a good deal. I now have my Civic back
It was sitting at my dad's house in WA since last August. Feels so good to have it back. Incase you forgot. I lost my car because I couldn't afford the insurance due to many speeding tickets that I got 2 1/2 years ago. Here comes the mods again. We also should get a meet together this summer

Hey Bro good to hear you have the civic back. Well so far Pinkey is thinking of meeting up in Salem at the Fairground on the June 28th to go to Dropzone 2003. I don't plan on entering my car, but it would be cool to meet up on the 28th since spectators can get in for $5 from 10-4 then maybe we could find something else to do after that or something. Yeah I think it would be a cool meet to start off the first for the summer since I will be busy from July on through September.
Let me know if anyone else would be interested in going
