the long waited drag racing from the civics at firebird is coming, we need to set a date im saying the 26 of this month or the 27 would be a good time to get everyone together who would like to run down to firebird and race, i wouldnt mind gettin the focus guys together into this little action. post and well get some conversations goin, later

Thursdays at Firebird are the import nights. On Fridays you can bring anything and race it...Last I was there I saw a guy in his semi racing. I need to get my stock wheels/tires from Flagstaff before I hit the track.

BUT, sounds like a cool idea to me. $15 and you can race as many times as you can...if I remember correctly.

Hopefully some of you will be at the track the 27th, I'll have my Z24 out there. If any of you think your 17-second cars can hang with a completely stock Cavalier, let me know out there. It's a red 4 door, you should be able to find it.

hehe my car is slow, but i can run high sixteens, saw my brother do it in my car, but all i could get was a 17.03, freakin slow
and my sixty times were slow also, i was hittin 2.5s and 2.6s, oh well, and my mph at finish was only 78 or 79, now that is damn slow, i need to take off those damn seventeens, taht would be a definite weight decrease,

just an update from that last post, it was a 17.3 for that last run, well just to let you all know again, that i went to speedworld this past wednesday, boy did i have fun, my first run 17.004 with a 2.319 60ft time, haha then my second run(by brian) he ran a 17.5, haha slow monkey, then my last run i ran a 16.8, can you believe it, that fast, that was awesome and my 60 ft time was 2.489, i was impressed all around mph was 82.14 heheh im in love with my car, now lets see if this cavalier freak can hang
