99 Civic Hazards/Turn Signal Stopped Working

Hi, just bought my first Civic recently. One day I started my car and my signals and hazards were no longer working. I replaced the hazard fuse under the hood, the turn signal fuse under the drivers side dash, and the flasher relay located next to the fuse box. I was sure that the new relay would work, and since it didn't, I'm stumped on what I could try next. Everything else dash panel related works just fine. It's only the hazards and the turn signals. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Were either of the fuses blown? If there's a short then the new fuse(s) probably blew immediately. If not... bad ground would be the next most likely thing.

Thanks for the response! Neither of the fuses were blown, they were just discolored. I replaced them just to be on the safe side cause I had extra fuses anyway. But all the metal was perfectly intact so I don't think they were the issue. I've heard that the hazard relay is also the turn signal relay as well. Is this correct? Also, how would I check for a bad ground?

With a multimeter would be your best bet. Personally I'd check the bulbs an inspect the wiring to them first. Then start troubleshooting grounds. I took some screen shots from my FSM for my '99 EJ6 for some info on the ground and troubleshooting.

Hope it can help.
