las vegas performance shops
las vegas performance shops
hey guys im brand new to the las vegas area looking for a good performance shop to get some work done on my 03 civic i just picked up. rumor has it a company from pittsburgh called strict fab just moved here but i cant find them in phone book. any suggestions would be great
Local shops in Vegas really suck. They all overcharge...the internet is gonna be your best friend. There's a place off of Spring Mtn and Arville called Regulate....I don't know if they're still around.
Off of Trop and Decatur there's a few places on the South end of Decatur...one used to be called Carzmetics...was Japanese owned but don't know if they're around anymore.
Universe sound on Spring Mtn and Valley View has some stuff also....it used to be CCR motorsports...you can try them too.
And...off of industrial near Spearmint Rhino there's one called Maximum Performance motorsport. Probably the most honest shop, but again don't know if they're around anymore. Most shops have been put out of biz by the internet.

I traded the RX-8 for the Cayenne S...needed a better business vehicle...clients have a hard time getting in and out of sports car. The S2K does it's job though haha...
Well, it's been a long time, since I've ordered parts for a civic, but I think there was one called truehonda.com or something like that, but they had good prices from what I remembered....just do a search. I ordered parts from a site called enjuku.com or enjukuracing.com don't know if they're still around though...
As far as working on your car, there's alot of guys on here that will help you out I'm sure. Check the regional forums. Zzyzx is probably the most informed guy here when it comes to auto-x.
Anyways man, welcome to Vegas....I'm a local Realtor and have been here for over ten years so if you have any questions about the valley let me know

vegas shops sucks *** period. they all overcharge period. nothings better than the other theyre all the same bro. just like mentioned earlier the internet would be your best deal. welcome to vegas and the one thing great here is the food.
the food is awsome. im not sure of the name of the place but i get some all you can eat sushi down on maryland near unlv and i love to get the cheap prime rib at hooters. any places where tuners hangout . i wouldnt mind checking out the scene. my car is pretty stock for the exception of a new airfilter but i just got the car a month ago. im still deciding where to start this car. im used to work at audio shop but never got in to the honda stuff till i got here
Memphis BBQ on warmsprings and eastern is probaly one of the best bbq ive tasted in my life. well not too many 7thgens here in vegas but i can tell you is we do know our stuff. from my head i can tell you for the whole suspension setup you would go to zzyzx, for motor swap xproductions can tell you how to do it step by step, Logan3024 can guide you for a real good turbo setup (in which in my opinion is better thans dezod's), and I, from experience can help you with exterior/body work. so if you ever decide you need anyhelp definitly feel free to ask one us.

My personal recomendations...
Best breakfast: Blueberry Hill on Green Vally ranch + Sunset. (its different then all the other bluberry hills in town)
Best BBQ: Memphis BBQ (theres three in town)
Best Sushi: Sushi Bay on Pecos and Windmill
Best Steak 24/7: Any one of the many Village Pubs in town... ask for the steak special. :P
just to name a few.
dude seriously that place is like "THE BEST" place for breakfast, but gets really hectic there when there's a crap load of people.
