I just started designing sites myself but there not near your level.

Let me know & I will get some made up once we decide on a name. I think for each City, it should be like SD Import Design, OC Import Design, etc... Then as a whole, it all can fall under So Cal Import design... How does that sound???

Rep Power: 0 Hey All, I was just thinking. Are we going to be limiting the club to Civics? If so, what about calling the club CivicSD? It would stand for Civic Sport Designs, but would also have the double meaning of Civic San Diego (a double-entendre for you literature people)

ShinyGreenSuit - You not able to go to the meet? I know it will be filled with young people but we would like to meet you as well. Bring the wife! We will have a BBQ, raffle, & activities, plus alot of nice 2k1's up there. So its not completely a car thing. Just a thought. If you would like to go, us here in SD are meeting up @ the wienersnitzel on garnet in Pacific Beach @ 10 AM. Check the Meet thread & see if it is something you might like to do. My Girl went to the last one & she enjoyed herself. She would be going on Sat, but she is about to have my baby girl so we dont want to risk her going into labor on the road. Anyway, just a thought. Hope to see ya there! BTW: I dig the Edify page you did!

Rep Power: 0 Sorry I won't be able to make it. It actually has more to do with "short notice" (since I just found out the other day), than with her actually not wanting to go. She's a teacher, and has some sort of school event that I "get [IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG]" to go to.
I agree with Dark in the idea of keeping it SD based. It makes it much easier to get to events, and makes it kind of a special "San Diego" thing, although others are welcome to join in. So when you guys are deciding Saturday, thats my vote.

Cool idea guys. Also is this just going to be a fun club or are there going to be any dues associated? Is there going to be a newsletter? If so will it be on-line or through the mail for a more personal touch? If its through the mail who will pay for postage *back to the dues*? How many meets will be involved in a month? If a member misses a certain number of meets will he/she be dropped from the club? How will you decide who is going to be the president/vice-president/etc? If the appointed person of a station does not fulfill its duties will that person be kicked from the position?
Just a couple of ideas for you guys.

Rep Power: 0 Actually, heavy rules and "dues" would be a bad idea for a club that is recreation based. Paying for events is one thing, but I think dues are too intense for a small group of car enthusiasts. We want to encourage as many as possible to join, and having "show up or your out" kind of rules will keep people from wanting to come in. People are just too busy these days. I hope the meet went well all!

btw I removed myresonator and the car sounds sick... it only took 5 minutes to take off and can be replaced very easily. Cool mod for those who don't have the green right now to buy an intake.
