Ok so im new into the honda game nd dont know much about it first question is what kind of transmission do i have my car is a 95 civic it says eg8 on vin almost sure its a lx sedan since i have pw pl nd no sunroof my tranny its a 6 speed nd i want to know whats the name of it second question is the car is suppose to have the d15b7 but has a d16y7 i want to know what engine would be better since im not getting that much power with this one thanks for looking nd your time looking fwd ur answers

Thanks for ur answers im still confused i just bought the car i guess previous owner swap that engine nd tranny in there since only the rsx ep3 nd crv k series have the 6th gear tranny nd like u said the engine is for a 96 00 model but im still wondering what other engine could i put if i am not getting the power i want thanks

To be honest I am not sure what you are looking for. Its a civic. people add boost, some models now have superchargers but, when looking at a compact car power is not usually that high.

What kind of power are you looking for. Si motors have more HP than standard..
