Vacuum Leak?
Vacuum Leak?
Right now I have a 1995 Civic Coupe DX. I'm running a d15b jdm engine, all rebuilt to performance specs, and turbo'd. It usually would run 14-18psi safely but now I am having problems. I just had the clutch replaced to a stage 4 clutchmasters fx400, and now my turbo only wants to boost at 3psi. I took apart my external wastegate to see if it was stuck open, but it was functioning properly. My spark plug wires are almost done for, and right now i'm only running 3 cylinders. I ordered some new wires that should be here within a day. Now, i'm thinking that could be a part of the problem but not a 15psi drop. Do you think it might be a vacuum leak and how can I check for one?

Re: Vacuum Leak?
Best way to check for a vacuum leak is a fogger, if you can't rent out at any local auto-parts stores then get a shop to do it. Seriously, best way no contest.
Re: Vacuum Leak?
Never mind! Problem solved
it was a problem with my wastegate. Either the diaphragm was pinched, it was stuck open, or a leaking valve but I fixed it. 18psi never felt soooooo good!
