need help
Re: need help
maybe turbo charged and an agressive cam and valves, springs, retainers and a full head job. but then that's just my opinion though. do some research and see what aplications will work and make a list you will also need some kind of ecu mod so put that into the budget and it also depends if your going to do the work your self or have someone install it for you. good luck.

Re: need help
You would need a different ECU.. and motors just dont drop right in, they are a huge PITA to jack out of the engine bay and replace. Everyone talks about swaping B's and K's for their D's or XYZ's... but in the end most of it is just talk. If you just bought it, get used to it. Since you dont know the answers to the questions your got then you probably shouldnt be doing a swap, and since you bought that particular car without a plan for a swap, then you probably dont have the money for it or you would have bought a different car.
I'm not trying to be a dick, although its coming across that way. Point is, you just got the car and you started checking forums and finding everyone was upgrading and you want to upgrade too... its not that simple, an engine swap is a huge deal- its not like a drop in K&N filter.
I suggest you get used to your car and get a feel for it- you need the right parts for you and your driving style, and dont just bolt on any generic aftermarket parts and expect your car to go fast.
Maybe a super charger is better for your driving style, maybe a turbo is better, maybe a swap is better, maybe stock with bolt on upgrades is better. You dont know because you just got the car. Give it some time and get used to the thing.
