93 Civic del Sol no Catalytic Converter

I just got a 93 del sol and it has an h22 swap from a prelude or an accord. I lost the smog paperwork the guy gave to me that i bought it from so i took it to a shop to get tuned up and i didn't even realize the car had no catalytic converter so even if it was smogged before, it wasn't legal. Now with the big engine in this car i was trying to decide which cat converter to buy but im not sure if i should get the stock one, or something made for a prelude with that size engine so that the converter wont go out on me too soon. Any suggestions? I was thinking about going with a magnaflow.

Re: 93 Civic del Sol no Catalytic Converter

make sure if you live in CA that it's legal in California. We are a bitch here when it comes to Cats. Whats legal in the other 49 states is often not here. So when you buy on ebay just make sure it says its CA approved.
